• Three threes

    30 January 2021

As the old saying goes... two's company, three's a freaking crowd!!! :-)

So this Saturday I'm delighted to be sharing a trilogy of freakish threesomes, drawn by three different artists, but drawn together by... well, THREE!!! :-)

First up we have a piece by a fan called Dan, who titled it "Casual Night Out." It sees Mr Crepsley, Darren and Harkat chilling (most probably on a Saturday night, I would imagine), enjoying some milkshakes and doughnuts.

The second is by a fan called Shacy, and again it features Mr Crepsley, Darren and Harkat. Hmm... looking at the two drawings together, I think this might be either a prequel or sequel to Dan's piece! They look to me like three guys who are either thinking, "It's a Saturday night, we're bored, what could we do to liven things up? Hey, I know, let's go for milkshakes and doughnuts!" or three guys who, after a satisfying meal, have taken to the rooftops to reflect. "Remember those wonderful milkshakes? And those doughnuts -- man, they were amazing! The good old days..."

Finally, Harkat has been replaced by Steve Leopard in the third drawing, by Catherine, and the mood instantly changes. This might well serve as a future movie poster if they decide to make another installment in that old sci-fi series, Men in Black... and Red!!! :-) :-) :-)

A quick reminder that Volume One of the Cirque Du Freak manga omnibus edition is on sale NOW. It collects the first two books in the series, and should be available through any store that sells English language manga, or there are direct links below for Amazon and Book Depository.
