A tweeter with the user handle FestivalOfTheUndead has been VERY busy over the last few months creating memes inspired by my books. I've shared some of their work in previous posts, but today I decided to make it all about THEM -- I hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight, Festy!!! :-)

The first, in which Gavner asks Mr Crepsley about a photo of him on the mantel piece (and before any smart alecs pipe up -- yes, we all know that vampires CAN'T be photographed!! but this is a meme, not canon!!!), contains visual references from the Cirque Du Freak manga and the American cover for Ocean Of Blood, the third book in the Saga Of Larten Crepsley series. (I'm willing to bet five bowls of bat broth that at least one or two people reading this snap to attention and gasp, "There's a Cirque Du Freak manga?!?" While another three or four exclaim just before fainting, "There's a prequel series of books about Mr Crepsley?!?)

Again, in the second meme, we all KNOW that Arra Sails would never cry at in insult, but instead would mete out swift, severe punishment to the insulter, but hey, again, it's not canon, so let's just enjoy a few chuckles, OK?

The third and fourth memes contain SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't read The Vampire Prince or Trials Of Death, so look away NOW if you're in that camp!! Although, honestly, if you HAVEN'T read books 5 and 6 of the series yet... what the hell HAVE you been doing with your life all these years?!?
