Shortly after Christmas, BABCIA -- Mrs Shan's mother -- flew home to spend a couple of weeks with us. We call her Babcia because that's the Polish for Grandmother, and she comes from a Polish family.

The two Shan children were VERY excited to see her, and here are a few photos taken in Shannon Airport, in the run-up to her arrival, and after she'd come through security.
