I'm delighted to present another Tattoo Tuesday post, and this week's it's a Shanster called Zoe in the spotlight. As in the last couple of posts, Zoe opted for my "Even in death may you be triumphant" quote, although she tweaked it slightly -- on purpose, not accidentally, as in last week's entry! The tweaking, and the sweet imagery which she's married it with, nicely illustrates the versatility of the quote, which I think is one of the reasons why it's struck a chord with so many people. Yes, it can be a loud, defiant roar in the face of death, as it so often is when uttered by a vampire general -- but it can also be a whispered plea, a polite request of a the grim reaper, and a wish for what is to come in the worlds beyond.
