I started a new book today.

Apart from some picture books that I've been working on over the last couple of years, it's the first bit of new writing I've done since I finished the first draft of the final Archibald Lox book back in November 2020.

It's also, apart from the Archibald Lox books, the first new novel that I've started since Sunburn (one of my Darren Dash books for adults), which I began more than ten years ago.

There's no denying it -- by my standards, I've been a bit lazy over the last several years!! But I'm back in the saddle, and hopefully it's full steam ahead from here!!!!

I can't say anything about the book right now, except it's going to be a sweet, low-key, gently uplifting, buddy/buddy, middle grade/YA story... set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse!!!
