• World Book Day 2021

    04 March 2021

    It's World Book Day!!

First up, you can check out videos of me and 152 (that's right -- one hundred and fifty-two!!!) other authors wishing everyone a Happy World Book Day. It's been put together by a team who emailed lots of writers and got back an incredible number of responses. You can watch them all, or jump to your favourites. Secondly, while I'm not doing anything special for it this year -- indeed, it's been quite a while since I've actively got involved with WBD -- it's always nice to see books being rightfully celebrated, and I decided to get in on the action by offering up a few World Book Day appropriate photos. In the first, a fan of my books, called Christopher, created some vampire vegetarian recipes, specifically for WBD this year -- yummy!!!

The other three photos, of fans cosplaying, date back a few months, but I know that lots of my fans have dressed up as characters from my books over the years, so I thought this would be as good a time as any to share them! A fan called Darren (great name!!) stars in the first two, as Evra Von and Steve Leopard.

Another fan called Josh takes over for the final photo, clad in a delightful shade of red as everyone's favourite grumpy vampire mentor, Mr Crepsley!!
