The book that made me cry for hours after it ended. I am 24 years old, and for some unexplainable reason, the conclusion of the Darren Shan saga always leaves me sobbing into my pillow for hours.
Whether it's nostalgia that stirs these emotions (they were among my favourite books during childhood), or whether I simply just become so involved with the characters, I can't decide. A bit of both, perhaps! Either way, the fact that the musings of a person's imagination can evoke such feelings in another reaffirms to me the beauty of writing.
